Learn about enzymes on the radio
Dan Kaur Weamer, technical director for Enzymes, Inc., will explain the benefits of raw- and fresh-food enzymes on radio, Thursday, April 23.
Tune in to KKFI-FM (90.1) in the Kansas City area from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. to hear the interview, which will feature a discussion on Plant A Row for the Hungry, a fresh-food donation program.
Weamer plans to talk about the importance of enzymes in a daily diet. Digestive enzymes, whether from food or supplements, aid digestion, help control inflammation and support tissue maintenance.
Plant A Row is a program of Harvesters, a community food network based in Kansas City. Harvesters encourages local gardeners to plant, and donate, a row of fresh produce.
Unlike typical donations to food banks, which usually include canned and processed foods, fresh produce contains natural food enzymes.
